Vias – Latin for paths – is a series about the ways our lives intersect, diverge, and change direction. I began creating the first works in January and February 2024, a time when I was meeting many new people while leaving others behind. It was a period of shifting connections, of opening and closing chapters.
In each piece, the lines represent individual lives – some crossing briefly, others running alongside for a long time, and some meeting again after a distance apart. The rectangles serve as fragments of life: distinct phases that sometimes overlap and sometimes remain entirely separate. These intersections, separations, and fleeting encounters form a visual map of human connection.
