Spectra—derived from the Latin spectrum—is a series centered on light, color, and the visible world. The first works were initiated at the end of 2024, but the series fully unfolded in early 2025, following a return from Mexico that introduced a decisive shift. It marked a conscious departure from monochrome and an entry into color—used with clarity and restraint rather than ornament.

The works are constructed from straight lines in varying colors, layered to create subtle gradients and shifts in tone. Reduced to a minimal vocabulary, the compositions rely on repetition, tension, and precision. Color emerges gradually through overlap, producing moments of vibration, depth, and quiet movement.

Spectra explores the relationship between structure and intuition, control and openness. Like light itself—constantly changing depending on context and perception—the works balance order and instability, stillness and motion. Each piece holds the full spectrum, not as a narrative, but as a condition.

The series represents a new phase: brighter, more expansive, and oriented toward discovery—both visually and materially.
