An Immersive Experience With The Artist

Step beyond the gallery and into the origin of the work. Forage & Form with Grace Duda is a two-day immersive collector experience where art begins in the landscape and culminates in an exclusive unveiling at Vaunt Gallery. Spend the first day alongside Grace as you explore, gather, and shape the raw elements that will inform a one-of-a-kind piece—then return the following evening to witness its transformation and secure your place in its story.

Guided by Grace’s distinct practice and perspective, guests are invited into a rare level of access—participating in the earliest moments of creation, where intuition, environment, and material converge. Every detail, from the curated natural setting to the intimate gallery dinner, is designed to deepen connection: to the artist, to the process, and to the work itself. The result is a piece that carries not only the imprint of the landscape, but the memory of those who experienced its making—an artwork with true provenance, shaped by place and shared experience.

This is not an event. It’s authorship-by-proximity.

Day 1:

The Foraging Experience

The experience begins beyond the walls of the gallery—immersed in a landscape where the first gestures of the work take shape. Guided by Grace Duda, collectors step into her creative process at its point of origin, where intuition meets environment and raw materials begin their transformation into art.

The Experience

Through a private luxury charter, the Guests are transported to a carefully selected natural setting—chosen for its richness of texture, form, and seasonal character. Here, the artist introduces her practice: how she observes, collects, and translates the natural world into layered, contemporary compositions.

As you move through the terrain together, the pace slows. Attention sharpens. What might otherwise go unnoticed—subtle color shifts, organic patterns, structural fragments—becomes the foundation of a future work.

Guided Foraging

This is not a passive walk—it is a guided exploration.

Guests gather materials alongside the artist—each discovery contributing to the visual language that will inform the final piece.

Field Lunch by SOMM

Midway through the experience, guests are welcomed into an elevated outdoor dining moment curated by SOMM. Set within the landscape itself, the lunch reflects the same ethos as the artwork—seasonal, textural, and deeply connected to place followed by another hour of gathering materials.

Later Afternoon Reurn to the SOMM for a decompression hour/ Material Review at SOMM

Over some light bites + wine the group gathers to review the collected materials. This is a pivotal moment.

Artist begins to interpret:

  • Which elements will carry forward
  • How composition may take shape
  • What emotional tone the piece will hold

Guests gain rare insight into artistic decision-making—witnessing the shift from raw input to conceptual direction.

Closing the Day

As the day concludes, guests return with a heightened awareness of the work to come—and a personal connection to its origin.

Day 2:

The Artwork Unveiling

The following evening, the experience shifts from landscape to gallery—where the raw elements of the previous day have been transformed into a finished work.

Guests return not as observers, but as participants in the story behind the piece.

Champagne Reception

The evening begins with a private reception inside Vaunt Gallery. Elements from the foraging experience—materials, imagery, and documentation—are thoughtfully displayed, creating a visual bridge between origin and outcome.

This moment reconnects guests to the process before the unveiling.

Seated Collector Dinner

Guests are invited to an intimate, multi-course dinner set within the gallery itself. Designed in collaboration with SOMM, the menu mirrors the journey of the experience:

  • From raw and elemental
  • To layered and expressive
  • To refined and complete

Wine pairings further enhance the progression, creating a fully sensory narrative that parallels the evolution of the artwork.

Artist Talk: From Field to Form

Grace shares the story of the work’s creation—how specific materials, moments, and interactions from the foraging day informed the final composition.

Guests gain a deeper understanding of:

  • The translation of natural elements into visual language
  • The decisions that shaped the piece
  • The emotional and conceptual intent behind the work

The Unveiling

At the center of the evening, the artwork is revealed.

What began as fragments in the landscape now exists as a cohesive, finished work.

For those who were there, it is immediately recognizable—and entirely transformed.

Guest that attended both days enjoy first access to purchase Graces works prior to the VIP reception held for her the following evening.

Each piece carries a provenance that cannot be replicated.
